Pada 11 Agustus 2013, bertempat di Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles, AS, Lea Michele menerima penghargaan sebagai Choice TV Actress, Comedy. Saat menerima penghargaan tersebut, Lea mendedikasikan penghargaan yang diraihnya untuk Cory yang meninggal pada 13 Juli 2013.
"I just wanted to be here to personally thank all of you and tell everyone out there how much your love and support has meant to me over these past difficult few weeks,” ungkap Lea yang memakai kalung dengan bandul bertuliskan Cory ini.
"I wanted to dedicate this award to Cory. Untuk semuanya, yang mencintai dan mengagumi Cory, seperti aku melakukannya, aku berjanji bahwa dengan cinta kalian semua, kita akan melewati kesedihan ini bersama. Cory sangat istimewa bagiku juga dunia,” lanjut Lea.
